The RESTAURANT at Painted Boat Resort Spa & Marina highlights the abundance of fresh ingredients available on the Sunshine Coast. The RESTAURANT’s distinctly modern, coastal feel is only rivalled by the spectacular views of the Pacific ocean and Painted Boat Resort’s Marina.

Executive Chef Steven Boudreau has skillfully created a West Coast Pacific Rim style that is elegant, refined and delightfully surprising. Hailing from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Chef Boudreau honed his academic and cooking experiences by travelling the world for inspiration and knowledge of global foods and culture. As a result, his culinary trademark of ‘don’t over think the ingredient, enhance it’ has become synonymous with his signature dishes at The RESTAURANT.

Chef Boudreau’s vibrant, yet approachable regional menu includes locally sourced Ocean Wise fish and seafood. Other ingredients are sourced from local purveyors on the Sunshine Coast, including organic produce from Henry Reed Organics Farm, Three Sisters Organic Farm, and Green Room Organics Farm located in Gibsons, BC.

Our guests will also enjoy fresh sturgeon caviar and meat from Northern Divine in Sechelt, BC, as well as organic sable fish from Totems Farm in Jervis Inlet, BC.

The RESTAURANT at Painted Boat Resort has become a popular haunt with locals and visitors alike as patrons enjoy taking in the stunning view while savouring a delectable meal and a glass of well-chosen wine.

The RESTAURANT also has an intimate lounge available for private dinners of 6 to 12 guests. On the lower level, there is a dramatic function room with a private deck and spectacular views available for small meetings and retreats, weddings, and special events to 75 guests.

The RESTAURANT’s staff, led by Manager Yester Mani, includes a highly knowledgeable team of local Sunshine Coasters who focus on exceptional service, with warm and respectful hospitality, delivered with a menu which showcases the abundance of fresh ingredients available on the Sunshine Coast.

Dinner is served Wednesday through Sunday, 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Closed Mondays and Tuesdays.


Thanksgiving Dinner – Saturday, October 10 & Sunday, October 11

Join us for Thanksgiving on Saturday, October 10 and Sunday, October 11! Fresh Turkey dinner served with traditional trimmings of mashed potatoes, root vegetables and Chef’s special cranberry sauce – all locally sourced.

  • Adults: $28 per person, plus taxes and gratuities
  • Children 12 and Under: $14 per person
