What You’ll Be Doing

As a Guest Services Agent, you'll be at the heart of the resort experience, creating welcoming first impressions and ensuring every guest feels taken care of.

Your day will include:

  • Welcoming guests with warmth, enthusiasm, and professionalism

  • Managing villa check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and guest inquiries

  • Assisting guests with spa appointments, resort amenities, and dining information

  • Sharing your favourite Sunshine Coast experiences and local recommendations

  • Answering phone calls and emails with confidence and exceptional service

  • Working closely with our Spa, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Restaurant teams

  • Anticipating guest needs, resolving concerns, and finding creative solutions

  • Helping create the seamless, elevated experience our guests deserve

Who We’re Looking For

You don't need to know everything about resort operations on day one. We're looking for the right attitude, personality, and willingness to learn.

You'll be a great fit if you:

  • Have a naturally warm, friendly, and outgoing personality

  • Enjoy helping people and creating positive experiences

  • Are organized, dependable, and comfortable multitasking

  • Communicate clearly and professionally

  • Take initiative and enjoy being part of a team

  • Are comfortable using computers and learning new systems

  • Can work a flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays

  • Have previous hospitality, tourism, retail, or customer service experience (an asset, but not essential)

The Details

Location: Painted Boat Resort Spa & Marina, Madeira Park, BC

Positions Available: Full-Time and Part-Time

Schedule: Flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays

Compensation: Competitive hourly wage. Compensation starting at $22 with opportunity for negotiation with experience.

Benefits: Resort wellness and dining discounts, with additional benefits available to eligible employees working 20+ hours per week.

The Lagoon Restaurant Positions

Be part of the team at The Lagoon Restaurant at Painted Boat Resort. We offer a welcoming, positive work environment in a beautiful waterfront setting.

Starting March 2027

We are looking for experienced professionals to join our team:

  • Sous Chef – Experienced

  • Server / Service Supervisor – Experienced

Restaurant hours starting March 2027: Tuesday to Saturday (closed Sundays and Mondays), 5:00–9:30 pm.

Starting May/June 2027

We will also be hiring for the upcoming season:

  • Servers – Previous experience preferred

  • Line Cooks – Previous experience preferred
